            Technologies represents Plasti-Fab shelters but we have become quite
            familiar with other manufacturers which vary greatly in construction,
            quality and price.  
            FRP
                Construction  
                Others use 1” polyurethane foam insulation
                sandwiched between two FRP sheets, and incorporate a wooden structural
                framework. This method of construction is virtually the same
                with all FRP building manufacturers, except for Plasti-Fab. Plasti-Fab
                buildings are engineered to withstand heavier wind & snow
                loads and resist corrosion from severe environments better than
            any other type of FRP shelter on the market. 
             
            All
                walls and doors in Plasti-Fab buildings are laminated of FRP
                with foam structural insulation. No wood or metal is used. Most
                shelters support their “sandwich
              style” flat wall panels on wood or metal studs. Wood/metal
              can eventually get wet and rot or rust. Not only are Plasti-Fab
              structural walls corrosion resistant, they also apply hand laid
              fiberglass into all seams and corners, which keeps moisture out
              of the framing areas and foam insulation.
